If you misplaced or forgot your password, our reset feature allows you to change your password when you sign on to any AOL service. Note: You'll need to remember the answer to your Account Security Question (ASQ) in order to reset your password. You can change your ASQ if you don't remember the original answer.
How can I change my AOL mail password?
- Change Your AIM Mail or AOL Mail Password
- Log in to AOL using your username or email and your current password.
- Confirm that the Manage Your Account category is open.
- Select (Change Password) under Password.
- Enter a new password under both New Password and Confirm Password. Choose a password that is both difficult to guess and easy to remember.
The Username and password you use to sign in to your AOL Mail are also the Username and password you use to sign in to AOL Premium Subscription Products. If you want to reset your password, it’s a painless process.
First of all, if you’re having issues signing on, make sure you’re using a valid Username and that you’ve entered it correctly.
How do I retrieve my AOL password?

Choose Try another verification option.
Select Email a reset link to my recovery email address.
Tap Next.
Click Close.
Open your alternative email account and look for the password reset message from AOL.
